Abstract

The journal is a daily record of activities of the District Court providing dates of sessions of court held and recording proceedings in criminal actions. The journal also records the selection and empaneling of grand and petit juries; appointments, oaths and sureties of court officers; submission and approval of accounts of court officials; and adoption and implementation of rules of procedure and administrative regulations.
